This session responds to the increasing calls for regenerative tourism practices, where instead of exploiting communities and nature, tourism is positioned in service to communities, nature and special places. Funding challenges in public education and the rise of innovative private providers presents an opportunity to develop public-private-community partnerships to deliver tourism education for the future.
