I joined Catalyst 2030 to network with like-minded people in the social enterprise sector. My goal was to collaborate with others to achieve SDG 4; 5 & 8.

Catalyst 2030 is a great space for me to connect with other changemakers and organisations in need of my specific skills. This makes it a great space for me to interact, network and find opportunities to grow and learn while I collaborate with other changemakers.

I seek connections with others of like mind in Catalyst 2030 who can help me realize my dream of being the figurative "tipping point" for women's equality in the clean cooking sector in Kenya and beyond. Additionally, I desire to pass on the expertise I've accumulated over the years as a social enterprise owner addressing access to clean cooking products to rural households and communities that are underprivileged.

I personally believe in women empowerment; i am where i am because someone offered me their shoulder as a stepping stone to get a better view and get further up and i would like to do that for other women. The programs we run at RefuSHE are targeted at empowering vulnerable refugee girls and young women in urban areas and any opportunity to deepen the impact of our programs and reach even more refugee girls and young women is always something I jump to invest time and effort in. Catalyst 2030 gives me a platform for knowledge sharing to deepen impact of programs that champion for women empowerment through education, gender, mental health and livelihoods.

For me joining catalyst 2030 I wanted to connect with other entrepreneurs and I as I connect and learn what others' are doing I realize we're not just a testament to what one person can achieve against all odds, but catalyst 2030 is an emblem of what humanity can aspire to be when driven by purpose and Love

I would bring my expertise in catalysing science to the community to influence policy and corporate action for change in the agri-food sector, especially concerning how to feed 10b people by 2050 in a world grappling with climate change.

I want to connect with other leaders through the movement for personal and professional development to take forward my ventures. I expect to interact with other change makers, learn from them, and share with them my experience and knowledge to attain the social goal for our respective communities.

My thoughts on how to reduce the skills gap, improve learning outcomes in students, and enhance marketable skills and mindsets have been ‘cooking’ in my mind for several years. I would like to compare my thoughts on my concepts to the great and brilliant minds that I will connect with in the Catalyst 2030 community.

Helping build the capacities of young people and organizations through workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs focused on environmental stewardship, leadership, and social entrepreneurship. Partnering with like-minded organizations and individuals to co-create and implement impactful projects that address pressing issues such as climate change, education, and gender equality.

Networking and sharing my leadership experiences

I joined Catalyst 2030 to create social change and impact the world positively. As a global network working towards the UN SDGs, their focus on collaboration and innovation aligns with my goals. After six months of active membership, I aim to continue contributing by sharing insights and supporting initiatives in education and climate change. I seek new perspectives, learning opportunities, and collaboration to drive sustainable solutions and meaningful change.

I am interested in participating in the Catalyst 2030 because I believe it will provide me with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the world. I am also excited to be a part of a community of people who are passionate about making a positive impact and allow me to learn from their expertise and experience, and to network with other talented individuals. It will also be a platform to us to exchange knowledge and information and come up with solutions.

I hope to share ideas and build collaborations to improving the Quality of Life because good health is fundamental to a fulfilling life. When people are healthy, they can participate more fully in work, education, and their communities. They can experience greater happiness, well-being, and productivity.

Share new ideas on how re-structuring sub Saharan Africa's public debt provides investment opportunities in public education and health institutions to improve Youth skills and well being. This will create quality employment with the Youth equiped with the capacity to add value to various value chains locally instead of exporting raw materoals. This will be done in a respectful partnership with private firms from the European Union pemised on acceptable profits to drive sustainability.

We also seek to inspire others to take action in their communities and implement sustainable models to deal with the challenge of the employability skills gap in their communities.
