Aid to Artisans was eager to join a group of like-minded social entrepreneurs who strive to make a positive impact. Through the Catalyst 2030 initiative, we believe that by meeting and working together with these entrepreneurs and enterprises, we are able to achieve our goals as a collective.

I love to be apart of Catalyst in order to change the way people think towards vulnerable communities and create a more compassionate and less judgmental society, with equal opportunities for all and much less gender and social class bias. I also am excited to join Catalyst as I believe that being responsible needs to come from the heart, both to one another and the environment. The more people understand we are all connected and economic benefits local people gain through upcycle programmes the more attention they will give to environment protection and conservation too.

I am an Italo-Lebanese professional, based in London, with a background in community regeneration and capacity building. In Italy, I co-founded and run a social enterprise to promote interfaith and multicultural awareness through community events and educational programmes, promoting a systemic approach to social issues in times when the definition was not yet commonly known. With a long experience in programme and project management, in the past twenty years I have supported pro-bono numerous charities and non-profits, while developing my academic career, delivering lectures and workshops in business and social entrepreneurship. I currently support Now-U, and other social enterprises to measure, report on, and manage their social and environmental impact.

I am passionate about people empowerment. Each human being is a leader and changer-maker that the world needs now. People only need to reconnect with their potential and purpose and bring their uniqueness to the table of the co-creators. However, too often we fail to reach our common goals, not because of the lack of money or public policies, but because too many people do not feel good and strong enough to be on that journey to create change. The first barriers we must overcome are our human insecurities. Only a mass of empowered people will be able to trigger the bottom-up dynamics that we are missing.

Hi there, I am the co-founder of Vertical Farm Ventures is a registered Limited Liability company in the City of Kano, Nigeria, we are committed to promoting regenerative agriculture and helping farmers transition towards more sustainable farming practices. We believe that this will not only benefit the environment and society but also improve the quality and taste of the food we consume. We also providing a turning key solution to agricultural challenges by adopting climate smart agricultural techniques that will enhance productivity. Our focus is on Urban Permaculture through the use of organic inputs, vertical farming techniques, regenerative agriculture and control environment agriculture. We have a mission to help families grow food not lawns. Our product City Compost is an organic input which serves as a soil condition to help increase the soil microbial diversity and feed the soil with beneficial microbes. I am very delighted to join Catalyst 2030 and I look forward to collaboration.

Our mission is to enable artisans to move from poverty to sustainable economic independence through product innovation, design, process improvement, quality standardisation and skill development, hence providing employment on a sustainable basis to marginalised craftspersons, Our vision is to be a catalyst to transform the cottage sector in India to organised business entities with the objective of helping create sustainable livelihoods, with special emphasis on women’s empowerment.

Catalyst 2030 is a collective effort towards meeting the sustainable development goals by 2030 which is the need of the hour. Individually, we can do only soo much but together we can do that much more.

Being a part of Catalyst will enable our organization to actively contribute towards making the world a better place and an opportunity to share knowledge and ideas with like-minded individuals and collaborate with different stakeholders such as governments , private sectors and academia to work towards sustainable development goals.
