Food Security and Agriculture
Planting and valorising non-timber forest products or tropical products in the form of food, food supplements and biopharmaceuticals are of significant nutritional, economic and cultural importance for the people Gabon. This collaboration aims to establish a social enterprise called BIO Natura GABON that will manage the entire value chain and plant select species in large numbers. It will contribute to systems change by building sustainable, resilient and inclusive infrastructure such as a one million tree per year reforestation programme, a plant biotechnology laboratory, a smart collection system, offer affordable prices and innovative products.
