I joined Catalyst 2030 to create social change and impact the world positively. As a global network working towards the UN SDGs, their focus on collaboration and innovation aligns with my goals. After six months of active membership, I aim to continue contributing by sharing insights and supporting initiatives in education and climate change. I seek new perspectives, learning opportunities, and collaboration to drive sustainable solutions and meaningful change.

I was looking to connect with like minded individuals, who are on a mission to create impact and make a social change in society as a whole, through their work.

I personally believe in women empowerment; i am where i am because someone offered me their shoulder as a stepping stone to get a better view and get further up and i would like to do that for other women. The programs we run at RefuSHE are targeted at empowering vulnerable refugee girls and young women in urban areas and any opportunity to deepen the impact of our programs and reach even more refugee girls and young women is always something I jump to invest time and effort in. Catalyst 2030 gives me a platform for knowledge sharing to deepen impact of programs that champion for women empowerment through education, gender, mental health and livelihoods.

My background in working with various healthcare organizations and social change initiatives has equipped me with the skills and knowledge that are needed for contributing towards sustainable development goals. Moreover, being the founder of the Utunyange Initiative aligns well with the goals and mission of this community through the promotion of gender equality. I want to engage with like-minded people and gain support and new partnerships. Engage in social networks, and learn new skills.

I have more ideas to implement that can create more income opportunities but I need technical support to be able to implement.

We bring apicultural expertise across a wide array of geographies to the table, and hope to contribute a systems-level approach to climate adaptation. We would be honoured to share our experience and insights regarding agricultural innovation with others. From the community, we are looking for scaling partners and funding avenues that will help us to deploy in the regions most threatened by flooding. We hope to collaborate with other initiatives that share overlap with our mission.
