CMS has been a core member of Catalyst 2030 since its inception due to the alignment of the movement with the Catalyst Group's vision of promoting the wellbeing of marginalized communities by accelerating the SDGs.

By joining I hope to be able to collaborate with like minded people or organisation to combating the issue that we want to change. I see Catalyst 2030 as a diverse and safe community and there are a lot of opportunities to grow together. I am wiling to volunteer in Catalyst 2030 initiatives and helping to reach more people to be aware on this platform.

ISSTA will share experiences on challenges to sustainable development in Uganda and Africa in general. It will seek replication models of various response actions that network NSAs have implemented to circumvent inclusive growth challenges in which duty bearers have blocked progress on SDGs achievement in areas of climate justice, health justice, fair distribution of economic opportunities, human rights observance in a context of newly found oil and mineral wealth and the ensuant land grabbing.

We founded and built South Pole to over 1000 employees and made it the most impactful player in fighting climate change. As founders, we still hold >30% in it. I have my board role, am in the people committee, and we have all the interest in making South Pole successful. But we have handed over our operational roles to the next generation of leaders and want to use our knowledge, experience, and networks to generate the highest positive impact. Thus why we just founded Terra Impact Ventures.

We are looking to collaborate with Catalyst members on land regeneration projects focused on water cycle restoration.

I hope to contribute to the Catalyst Now movement by connecting and catalyzing collaborative action across sectors, different networks, sharing my networks, and insights and aim to support the community by contributing to peer learning, sharing case studies, and for collective impact in Environmental issues. In return, I am looking to receive opportunities to engage with a diverse, global community of changemakers, to deepen my understanding of systems thinking and adaptive strategies.

I do believe that the future is collaborative. We need to celebrate and integrate different visions and knowledges to achieve the SDG. I'm willing to share what I have to offer in that sense and unravel what I cannot reach. I am to amplify my network as well.

The Youth Movement for the Preservation of Aquatic Ecosystems (MJPEA) wishes to join catalyst Now to strengthen its commitment to the protection of aquatic ecosystems and sustainable development. Through our field actions, we mobilize young people and local communities around issues related to water, aquatic biodiversity, and the responsible management of natural resources.

My Motivation to Join I am Mohamud Sheik Ali, a humanitarian professional with over 20 years of experience helping people in Somalia. I want to join the Catalyst Now community because I believe that real change happens when local experts and global movements work together. My life’s work has been about protecting human rights and making sure aid reaches those who need it most. I am motivated by the chance to connect with other leaders to find new, creative ways to solve the challenges my country

I founded SG ClimateHub to turn climate awareness into daily action. Catalyst Now offers a space to learn how localized ideas scale into systems. I hope to exchange approaches to behavioral and policy change, while sharing insights from building a youth-led, government-backed platform that links personal action to national goals.

I’m joining Catalyst now because I believe deeply in collective action to address the world’s most urgent social challenges. Through my work as Program Manager at the Global Public Service Academy for Health, I’ve seen firsthand how cross-sector partnerships and community-centered design can shift health outcomes in under-resourced regions. As I expand GPSA’s global programming—developing new health equity sites in Southeast Asia and creating training curricula grounded in systems thinking.

My motivation to join Catalyst Now is to engage in meaningful collaboration with peers working on systems change across regions. Through Philantropics, we bridge philanthropists in the GCC with locally led organizations in the Global South, and I see strong potential for South–South learning and partnership. I hope to both contribute insights from strategic philanthropy practice and learn from the community.

I hope to contribute through my skills such partnership-building, communications, community engagement, and collaborative program design. I want to support spaces where learning is shared, leadership is nurtured collectively, and accountability is practiced with care. From this community, I am seeking feminist-rooted leadership development, mentorship, and networks that function as real communities, that are spaces of solidarity, and shared growth.

My Motivation to Join Catalyst Now As a passionate social entrepreneur and climate action advocate, my motivation to join Catalyst Now is driven by a deep commitment to systemic change, collaboration, and community-driven solutions that create lasting impact. 1. Driving Systemic Change for Smallholder Farmers & Climate Action Through my work with Bunyala Agri Climate Action Impact Solutions, I have seen firsthand the challenges that smallholder farmers and fisher communities face—climate change, limited market access, high input costs, and a lack of sustainable solutions. By leveraging innovative approaches such as Black Soldier Fly (BSF) feed production, renewable energy solutions, and digital skills training, I aim to scale sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices that empower these communities. 2. Collaboration as a Key to Transformative Impact I believe in the power of collective action. Catalyst Now presents an incredible opportunity to connect with like-minded changemakers, share knowledge, and co-create solutions that address global challenges. By joining this network, I hope to bring African grassroots innovations to a global stage while also learning from successful models worldwide. 3. Amplifying Local Voices & Unlocking Opportunities Many grassroots initiatives lack the visibility and support needed to scale. Joining Catalyst Now will provide a platform to amplify the voices of local farmers, youth entrepreneurs, and climate advocates, ensuring they access the resources, funding, and partnerships required to accelerate their impact. 4. Advancing the SDGs & Strengthening the Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem I am committed to advancing SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger), 5 (Gender Equality), 13 (Climate Action), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through Catalyst Now, I aim to build stronger networks, advocate for policy change, and implement scalable models that create economic opportunities while addressing climate challenges. I want to expand the network of AYCP Receive training (capacity building) on how best we can deliver to the community we serve. We also hope that some day Catalyst Now will connect us donors. We also look forward for collaboration with other Organizations from other regions.
