Sustainable Fashion Resources for SMEs Stream

Our collaboration is an international group of individuals and organizations within Catalyst 2030 joining together to shift the Fashion Industry to a sustainable, ethical system using a Systems Change approach. We seek to be place where Micro and Small to Medium Enterprises in the fashion industry can gain access to much needed resources and collaborate. We have discovered an unaddressed need in the industry as most organizations focus on larger actors along the fashion industry supply chain while SMEs continue to be under-resourced in areas including Collaborations; Funding; Policy and Lobbying; Advocacy, Raising Citizen Awareness; and Market Penetration/Access. We know we are stronger together when we collaborate and share resources for a common cause. With a focus on the Global South, we seek to shift power dynamics of the fashion industry and highlight the positive advancements SMEs are making toward 2030 Climate goals and create a movement shifting power, economic justice, and citizen awareness. We are focused on fostering collaborations and providing resources to sustainable, ethical actors in the fashion industry. We do this through hosting regular networking opportunities and learning opportunities where we invite speakers to educate on various topics. There is also a separate Waste Work Stream that is focused on an educational circularity project that you can join in addition to this collaboration.
