I have been serving the social enterprise sector in Hong Kong for over 12 years. I was one of the founding member of a NGO that promotes social entrepreneurship. Moreover, I conduct social impact research for NGOs. I partner with different social entrepreneurs in their strategic development of social change.

On more occasions, I have been thinking about the positive influence the community work had over the evolution of my life and career path, inspiring me to undertake this new scientific ecological path. These decisions made me understand even more my mission, creating a better future for the entire ecosystem, people and the planet. I devote my life to explore the biodiversity of life, how everything is inextricably interconnected, and fight against any form of monocultural thinking to cultivate a biodiversity of mind. Making the SDGs goals a reality is my ikigai, the reason why I get up every morning. This is more than a career aspiration. This is my mission.

As a young Yemeni activist, my motivations for being part of Catalyst 2030 are deeply rooted in my passion for positive change and my commitment to making a meaningful impact in my country. Yemen faces numerous challenges, including conflict, poverty, and limited access to education and healthcare. Our goal as an organization to join Catalyst 2030 is to collaborate with like-minded organizations/innovators to address the current plastic pollution and climate crises and achieve our targeted SDGs (1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, & 14).
