We are all well acquainted with the reality that it will take all actors of varied sectors and structures to advance the Sustainable Development Goals. Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) however, sit in a unique position of intersectoral collaboration. This session aims to share the experience and impact of the Blood:Water partnership model that exclusively partners with African-led civil society organizations to respond to HIV and WASH related health disparities through financial and organizational strengthening support.
The session will delve into the experiences, challenges, data-informed learning of frontline practitioners on the exponential and intersecting impact that can be achieved when organizations and the communities they represent are resourced to advance both their operational health and vision for societal transformation.
