This session dives deep into GivingTuesday’s (GT) distributed leadership model to understand how to build and grow meaningful collaborative action. The distributed model shows that when changemakers connect through unified values, their potential gets amplified through the collective, and they are able to drive localised change. Using the Starling India Collective (SIC), a program co-owned and co-created by six non profit organisations in India, as a case study, the session will focus on:
1. Co-ownership and collaboration as core values of the GT distributed leadership model
2. What does distributed leadership look like? The SIC as a case study for the model.
3. How are change-makers in India building distributed leadership in their communities?
