Amsterdam 17 June 2022: Join our global movement of people and organisations as we celebrate the latest successes of our Catalyst 2030 partners and allies who are committed to implementing bold new strategies in pursuit of attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
Our annual Catalyst 2030 Awards for Systemic Change takes place to celebrate the achievements of the individuals and organisations, who are driving co-creative collaborations to confront some of the world’s most pressing problems. In the spirit of global collaboration, anyone who has an interest in philanthropic funding and systems change work will want to join us for our one-hour awards ceremony which will take place online on Wednesday 22 June from 4pm to 5pm (CEST). This year’s finalists have been involved in supporting work which aims to change the lives of people across the world for the better, ranging from seeking solutions to challenges such as poverty and food insecurity to inequal access to education, skills training and healthcare, to accelerate attainment of the SDGs.
A total of 200 nominations for the awards were received, from which the movement’s General Assembly, seven jurors and a 12-member awards committee selected more than 60 finalists. Awards finalists include our partners and allies such as philanthropic, multilateral and non-profit organisations, funders, governments and corporates, who embrace collaboration and co-creation as they shift power dynamics globally for greater inclusivity to pursue the SDGs. Social Imperative, Founder and Board Member, Matthew Bishop and Breakthrough, CEO Sohini Bhattacharya co-chaired the Awards Committee.
“We are excited that our growing movement of dedicated social entrepreneurs and innovators will be hosting our second annual awards ceremony to highlight and celebrate the outstanding work of various individuals, organisations and governments, who share and work towards our common goals to accelerate attainment of the SDGs. The remarkable 2022 finalists included leaders from various sectors who continuously distinguished themselves within philanthropic, government, business, bilateral and multilateral endeavours. They also advocate for the development and implementation of strategies geared towards the achievement of the SDGs by 2030.
