African Feminist Research Initiative for Advocacy and Development (AFRAD)
AFRAD (African Feminist Research Initiative for Advocacy and Development) works to advance gender equality, civic freedoms, and social justice in Africa. We combine feminist research, advocacy, and movement building to address issues such as climate action, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence, and digital resilience. Through knowledge production, capacity strengthening, and community-driven initiatives, AFRAD empowers individuals and organizations to create inclusive, rights-based, and sustainable change.
