Bright Green Youth Community Based Organization

Michael Otieno Usigu is the current Executive Director & the founder of the Bright Green Youth. Michael is a strategic Project planning and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and a research professional , Youth Pastor , A Husband & a father with effective leadership and management experience of over 10 years gathered through extensive implementation of various development projects and programs in both local and International NGOs and social enterprises in Kenya. Michael holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology with Information Technology from Maseno University Kenya, and currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Michael has managed various dynamic and energetic teams through supervision, mentorship, coaching, training and empowerment in research, Social work and Monitoring and Evaluation, Health, Environment (Climate Change). He has experience in managing Projects/Programs that were aimed to solve social issues and bring change through different subjects such as Economic Empowerment, Quality Health and Social services, Child Rights and Advocacy, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Reproductive Health and Education. He has gained experience in matters M & E coordinating research and monitoring and evaluation activities in USAID projects VISION To promote environmental sustainability, education, agribusiness and health through advocacy among women and young people. 3. MISSION: To mobilize the rural community, rural youths women and children to share and participate in all aspects of environmental sustainability, education, agribusiness, health and entrepreneurship for quality life in Homa County, Kenya.
