Community Action for Food Security (CAFS Africa)
Community Action for Food Security (CAFS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable food systems, supporting small-scale farmers (especially women and youths), and combating hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria. We achieve our mission through policy influencing, livelihood support, community participation, and a focus on practical approaches to agriculture, processing, value addition, and climate change adaptation. CAFS emphasizes collaboration, equity, integrity, innovation, and a can-do attitude while working towards its overall goal of empowering stakeholders to manage agricultural and food systems effectively to strengthen food security, improve rural livelihoods, and protect the environment in the face of climate change challenges.
