Drishtee believes in the sustainability of communities as a pre-requisite to world peace and growth of human civilization. Drishtee is building or rather re-building the ‘enabling ecosystem’ through an integrated ‘Swavlamban’ (self-reliance) approach. Drishtee facilitates rural community groups to develop into self-reliant, sustainable and interdependent community groups, empowered to develop local livelihoods through resource building, sharing and enabling approach. Drishtee has been working for the last 20 years and has helped develop nearly 45,000 livelihoods in 2000 villages.
