Eagle Wing Organisation

Eagle Wings Community Based Organization is a youth-led and focused community-based organization based in Kenya. The organization was registered in 2020 and currently working in Kisumu county. Our aim is to mobilize and capacity build voices of the community in the identification of the social needs of women and youths from vulnerable communities through skils development, economic empowerment, leadership, and governance training, Our wealth as an organization lies in volunteers (young people) and the community that is why we invest in empowering our community with knowledge & hands-on skills. Our work is premised around a vision that states if a community is empowered and inclusiveness prioritized there will be peaceful coexistence in the society. This is supported with a mision of economically building the capacity of the communities to promote inclusion in all aspects of lives in the community leading to an empowered society. Our programs incude: (1) Youth & Women economic empowermemt (2) Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights 9) Education & Life skills and (4) Environmental Conservation. Every year since our existence as an organization, we always strive to bring different kind of changes in the community. Our work for past couple of years has been focusing on empowering and uplifting of the young people in society by giving priority to access to hands on skills development through SHE Builds and Linda Maji project. This has seen a positive impact in the society as perception of the young people on skills is concerned. We will continue with this initiative to bring the necessary change in society and create that conducive environment for these vulnerable groups of people in the society.
