Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO)
Committed to mutual respect and understanding, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon brings together diverse communities of faith to learn, serve, and advocate for justice, peace, and the integrity of creation. EMO operates six direct service programs that serve diverse individuals, families, and communities while advocating for just policies for all Oregonians. Our direct service programs serve the food insecure, low-income adults living with HIV/AIDS, unaccompanied houseless youth, newly resettled refugees, immigrants in need of legal services, and Slavic and Eastern European survivors of intimate partner violence. We combine upstream and downstream approaches to our work by working directly with communities and utilizing our insights gained through those partnerships to participate in public policy advocacy work in Oregon.
