Esssential Social Service (ESS) Creative and Legal Foundation
ESS Creative and Legal Foundation was founded in 2017 to provide alternative dispute resolution and legal representation through legal assurance to Tanzanians, whose incomes range from $200 - $500 per month. In the existing justice system, for people to qualify for free legal aid their income must be below $150 per month as per the legal aid act 2017, and for those who wish to hire private advocates, the minimum legal representation fee is $500.
