Fundação Otacílio Coser

The Fundação Otacílio Coser creates connections and opportunities for young people in vulnerable social situations, from basic education to the world of work. Through initiatives to encourage the completion of high school and a start to a professional life in the formal sector, it seeks to contribute to overcoming chronic processes of social exclusion. For 25 years, its mission has been driven by a commitment to promoting inclusion and the development of Brazil. In 2023, with the support of GIFE - Grupo de Institutos, Fundações e Empresas, it launched the Mapping for Youth: an initiative designed to increase visibility and foster connection between Third Sector organizations driven by the same purpose, and with complementary work focused on the continuity of studies, employability, and entrepreneurship. For 19 years, in partnership with the State and Municipal Secretariats of Education, it has been running the Escolaí Program, which supports public schools in developing the life project of their students. To do so, it strengthens skills aligned with the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base) and the world of work, awakening them to their dreams and talents.
