Gesellschaft für Sozialforschung und Bildung (GeSoB)

As the Director of the Board and Senior Researcher at GeSoB, my efforts are channeled towards fostering impactful collaborations and steering innovative projects that bridge the gap between academic research and practical societal benefits. GeSoB stands at the forefront of social research and education, embodying the principle of integrating interdisciplinary approaches to tackle societal challenges. One of our notable initiatives, "Joy Project" (Ode to Joy), aims to enhance well-being and personal development among youth, particularly NEETs, by fostering positive emotions like joy and resilience through creative and experiential methods including theater, dance, and music. This project not only equips professionals with tools to support personal growth but also aims to cultivate a model that can be embedded into career and labor policies. Similarly, the "GITA Project" (Growing Indonesia – a Triangular Approach) focuses on strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia by fostering collaborations between universities and industries, thereby enhancing the employability of Indonesian graduates. This initiative emphasizes the development of Growth Hubs and nurturing an entrepreneurial culture within academic settings. The "Frauenpower im Wienerwald" project showcases our commitment to gender equality and empowerment, aiming to bolster women's roles in the economy and society by leveraging local networks and resources. Each project underlines GeSoB's dedication to societal innovation, education, and the empowerment of diverse groups. Our approach is distinguished by a commitment to creating tangible changes through education, empowerment, and the application of interdisciplinary research, reflecting our vision of a more inclusive and equitable society.
