Gimat Volunteer Network Ghana (GVN)

GIMAT VOLUNTEER NETWORK (GVN) is a social enterprise project that operates developmental projects in deprived communities in Ghana through the use of sports. It was established in 2004 and has always remain a non -denominational, non-political, social and non-governmental organization. Our mission as an NGO is to utilizes sports, formal and informal education as a tool to address social issues including homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, as well as school dropout among the youth in Ghana. Since 2006, Gimat Volunteer Network has been a partner of the Scottish-based Homeless World Cup Foundation, whose main goal is to raise public awareness of homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, and ways to battle them via sports.
