Global Peace and Development Organization (GPDO)
Global Peace Development organization is non- for- profit organization established in 2011 to empower communities through Peace Building, Agriculture for development Social Mobilization and Awareness Creation, Economic empowerment and Leadership development , Educating indigenous Community on Land and Natural Resources Management, Gender education and mainstreaming, Human rights Advocate, Agriculture, skills training, voter education, WASH promotion and to promote peaceful co-assistance of all e groups in Liberia. GPDO aims to promote peace and international solidarity for human rights, development and social change. GPDO has a long term experience in working with civil society organization and women organization, youth, community based, faith based organization and stakeholders to ensure smooth accountability both national and international promoting the rights of women, peace building, conflict resolution, SGBV , GBV and security (UN Resolution 1325) GPDO have been advocating for women inclusion in politic local and national governance and their equal access/participation in decision making processes that directly affected their lives.
