I am the Director of Global Welfare Foundation The Gambia and my work is to To bring social reforms in communities through training and sensitisation of individuals and masses in locally led development practices.  To promote Social Justice for structurally marginalised groups such as women, youth, children, indigenous minorities and PWDs.  To empower communities in various social economic sectors with livelihood skills towards improved welfare and social wellbeing.  To promote institutional development and sustainability for GLOWEFA to deliver on its mandate. Our Mission To promote community transformation through partnership and networking with communities, government, civil society and development partners. Vision Stable and Sustainable Community Development The world is changing fast, and it is important that individuals are empowered to shape what our societies look like in the future. To guarantee this, GLOWEFA’s activities are for the people and by the people. We believe that “ordinary” people are capable of achieving “extraordinary” things when we work together. The work of this global community is facilitated by the Global Welfare Foundation (GLOWEFA), an independent not-for-profit organization based in The Gambia. GLOWEFA is not a political or religious organization.
