Goodfolks emerged from the silence of the Covid 19 Lockdowns as Founder Dinesh Gratian Perera realised he could use his years of brand building expertise to support Micro and Small businesses. Particularly those that struggled to find traction due to a lack of expertise and exposure. Goodfolks carefully identifies products and ideas from the Micro - Small - Medium sectors and transforms them through a matrix of value additions ranging from product development to branding and storytelling. The end products are then targeted to the Global Conscious Consumers. All Goodfolks products are free of chemicals, artificial preservatives or toxic elements. This makes every Goodfolks product good for the consumer. They are also developed collaboratively with local communities (farmers, LGBT groups, and soon, released prisoners) so that more value, knowledge and skills pass down to these groups enhancing their chances of a better life. Finally operations and sourcing are handled sustainably, be it going plastic free or encouraging natural farming. Goodfolks intends to be a successful global direct to customer brand that addresses the valid concerns of conscious consumers and prove that it can be done without a profit only mindset.
