Independent (Alifya Loharchalwala)

With 15 years of experience in the Development and Social Impact sector, I specialize in designing and implementing in high-impact programs. As the Head of Impact at Gray Matters Capital (GMC), I support efforts in identifying and backing high-impact organizations that can benefit from Blended forms of Capital. I bring a wealth of expertise in integrating a gender lens into program design and implementation, with a strong track record of championing gender-transformative approaches over the last decade. At GMC, my focus lies in Impact Investments, particularly in Women's Economic Empowerment, Financial Inclusion, and Sustainable Development. I hold a Masters degree in Gender and Development from the University of Oxford, with the distinction of being a Mica and Ahmet Ertegun scholar. Beyond my professional pursuits, I dedicate my free time to mentoring business leaders in integrating a gender lens.
