ACTIVISTA THE GAMBIA is a CSO organisation that majorly impact voter education in local communities espacially during election period in the Gambia. Through effective and timely intervention the country have been able to mitigate election violence and help in fostering peaceful elections. ACTIVISTA THE GAMBIA has also succeeded in supporting rural women in their right to land campaign, through this community project we are able to support women farmers both access and own lands where they farm. Moreover, we also have another project in which we work with women to better their political participation. In this advocacy were able to have women representatives incooperate in almost all local courts accross the country.
