Independent (Amara Chineme)
Amara Chineme is the Founder and CEO of Joymed Healthcare, a pioneering B2B2C medical supplies wholesaling venture aimed at revolutionizing healthcare accessibility in East Africa. Through Joymed Healthcare, Amara has established a robust supply chain that ensures even the most remote healthcare facilities receive high-quality, affordable medical supplies promptly, significantly enhancing healthcare delivery and emergency response. In addition to her work with Joymed Healthcare, Amara is deeply committed to empowering women through EmpowerHERVenture. This initiative focuses on supporting single mothers, particularly those who have faced extreme adversity. Most of the women are under 29 years old and have children with disability. By providing entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and resources, EmpowerHERVenture helps these women build sustainable businesses, achieve financial independence, and improve their overall quality of life. Amara’s dedication to community development extends to her roles with Smile Changers Foundation and Mandela Health Initiative, where she works to bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility and support transformative community projects. Her leadership and advocacy efforts also include mentoring with the Women in Africa Initiative, aiming to amplify women’s voices and promote gender equality. Through her initiatives, Amara has positively impacted thousands of lives, creating pathways for women and children to thrive in their communities. Her vision is to see a more equitable and inclusive Sub-Saharan Africa, where opportunities are abundant and dreams are attainable.
