Independent (Anna Patton)
Anna Patton is associate editor and training lead at Pioneers Post, following five years as managing editor. Pioneers Post is the independent news network for the global impact community. Over two decades, we have established ourselves as the essential source of intelligence and insight for pioneers across the impact economy, from social entrepreneurs and impact investors, to changemakers working across business, civil society, philanthropy, government and public services. Anna previously worked for 10 years as a freelance journalist, writer/editor and communications specialist. With a focus on international development and social enterprise, She has also worked in-house at international organisations including Euclid Network, Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) and British Council, as well as for a Brussels-based communications agency. She ran the communications of the Belgian government's aid work in Tanzania for a year, and has led community/youth media projects in Uganda and Kenya as well as with the youth charity Exposure in north London. Anna is a Fellow of the On Purpose social enterprise programme, and an accredited trainer of solutions journalism.
