At PLAPER, I have had the privilege of being involved in the development of cutting-edge environmental technologies. One significant project I have contributed to is PLAPER's utilization of Near-Infrared (NIR) technology for waste sorting and recycling processes. Recognizing the importance of efficient waste management, we harnessed the power of NIR spectroscopic analysis to accurately identify and categorize different types of materials. This breakthrough technology has revolutionized waste sorting, reducing contamination and maximizing resource recovery. In my role, I have played a pivotal part in optimizing and implementing the NIR system. Collaborating with a talented team of engineers and scientists, we fine-tuned the algorithms and calibration models to ensure precise material identification and sorting. Additionally, I have worked closely with external partners and waste management facilities to integrate the NIR technology into their operations successfully. The integration of NIR technology into PLAPER's recycling system has yielded significant environmental benefits.
