Independent (Juliana Stricklen)

I am a Program Manager at the Global Public Service Academy for Health (GPSA), where I lead international site development and global partnerships to expand access to health education in underserved communities. My work spans Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the United States, with a current focus on rural health equity in northern Thailand. I have developed new programs in partnership with the Thai Ministry of Health, local universities, and community-based organizations. I also design and implement training curricula for student participants, covering systems thinking in health, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), medical skills, and culturally responsive approaches to community care. Alongside my professional work, I am completing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) focused on educational technology for global engagement and innovation. My mission is to bridge global communities through equitable, experiential education that builds local capacity and fosters cross-cultural understanding. I envision a future where young people are empowered through ethical, community-centered programs to become compassionate and effective contributors to global health and development.
