Independent (Kayembe Ilunga)
On top of being a being the Director of the Experience Consulting capability at PwC, Kayembe also founded and is the MD of Ilunga Wealth Management. A property investment company that purchases property at plan stage to obtain it cheaper and pass that saving on to his tenants to provide affordable accommodation to starting families in South Africa. His philanthropic efforts also extend into building elementary schools in Namibia. Kayembe has recently given a TEDx talk on leveraging experience design principles when creating a customer, employee, and leadership proposition, and was one of the founders and directors of PocketFin, a financial literacy proposition which is now the sole provider of financial education to CNBC Africa. Ilunga Wealth Management's (IWM) primary focus is the purchasing of property at the planning stage in order to rent out said properties at affordable prices. As a company, we are building a property portfolio from the East Rand of Johannesburg to the southern suburbs of the Cape in order to increase the amount of affordable accommodation for the ordinary South African.
