Independent (Kristin Kelterbrn)
Kristin Babbie Kelterborn is the Manager of WDI’s Grants Management team and co-leads WDI’s Entrepreneurship Development Center. Kelterborn oversees the compliance and implementation of WDI’s diverse projects spanning across sectors, as well as WDI’s business development. Kelterborn, who joined WDI in 2015, also applies her expertise in entrepreneurship education to design and execute training programs and provide consulting services to support entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to her role at WDI, Kelterborn was a research analyst at an innovation accelerator where she provided guidance to early-stage entrepreneurs in building sustainable enterprises in the agrifood sector. She also was a graduate research assistant involved in various internationally focused social science projects, and interned with Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Bangkok. Kelterborn has a Master of Science dual-title degree in Rural Sociology/International Agriculture & Development from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Relations & Policy from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She has professional certificates from Babson College in entrepreneurship education and Strategyzer’s Business Model Canvas Masterclass.
