Independent (Nadilla Ratman)
I’m Nadilla—a believer in kindness as a force for change and a lifelong advocate for inclusive, people-first ecosystems. My work is rooted in a simple but powerful vision: a world where people are truly seen, valued, and supported to thrive—not just professionally, but as whole human beings. I carry this vision into everything I do, from building relationships and leading teams to co-creating programs that center empathy and equity. I grew up in Indonesia and have worked across the Asia-Pacific region, which has deeply shaped my understanding of how systems often overlook people—especially women, those with disabilities, and others navigating multiple layers of marginalization. This has ignited in me a passion for creating spaces where the underrepresented can lead, innovate, and heal. I aim to be the kind of leader who listens deeply, holds space, and helps others find strength in their own voices. What drives me is a desire to shift the way we work and connect—away from cultures of hustle, burnout, and perfectionism, and toward more regenerative, inclusive, and wellbeing-centered approaches. I believe that inner development is essential for outer change. Reflection, care, and emotional intelligence aren’t luxuries; they’re the foundation of meaningful impact. I carry this belief into the way I manage programs, nurture teams, and shape the cultures I’m part of. For the past eight years, I’ve worked in communications and program management, leading regional initiatives in social innovation, inclusive entrepreneurship, and circularity. I’ve collaborated with entrepreneurs, creatives, and organizations from diverse backgrounds—co-designing programs that are both context-aware and human-centered. While my professional titles have included Regional Program Manager, Program Designer, and Team Lead, it’s the “why” behind my work that matters most to me: I want to help build systems where people don’t just survive, but feel inspired, safe, and whole. I’m a strong advocate for remote work and borderless collaboration, which I believe can unlock new forms of inclusion and flexibility—especially for those often excluded from traditional systems. As a Fellow of the Women’s Impact Alliance, I engage in global peer learning to explore how leadership rooted in integrity, care, and collective wisdom can create lasting change. At my core, I am someone who values presence over performance. I want to make others feel less alone, to offer clarity in complexity, and to co-create futures that are more compassionate, just, and alive with possibility. My hope is that my work—however visible or quiet—helps nurture the kind of world where kindness isn’t rare, but foundational.
