Independent (Samer Al-Aswad)

Samer Al-Aswad is an experienced informatics engineer with a passion for software engineering. He received his Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Aleppo in Syria in 2005, where he specialized in software engineering. He then went on to complete his MA from Jules Verne University in Picardie, France, with a specialization in Information Systems Administration. Currently, Samer is working as the Programs Development Manager in COSV, an Italian NGO, where he has been responsible for managing and overseeing numerous projects. He is also a Board Member in Afkar Plus, a social incubator for small and entrepreneurial projects, where he has gained extensive experience in the field of training and management of entrepreneurial projects. Member of the youth advisory team for the Arab Human Development Report for Youth, which was prepared by the United Nations Arab Development Program UNDP 2016, in addition to his work as a contracted consultant with a number of international organizations. In 2017, Samer was elected as the National Vice President of JCI Syria, showcasing his leadership skills and dedication to community development. With his extensive experience in the field, Samer is committed to creating positive change in the world, one project at a time. He participated in many conferences in the field of entrepreneurship in Damascus, Beirut, Istanbul, Milan, Marseille, Basel, Doha, and Vienna.
