I am a human rights advocate/activist, a social entrepreneur, a former documentary filmmaker and journalist and the founder and director of Yusra Community Center and the Inshirah Collective. The center is a volunteer-run space providing direct support with displaced communities living in Istanbul. The Inshirah Collective is a feminist safe space offering support, skills training and resources to those identifying as women from displaced communities. I am actively dedicated to solidarity work in the SWANA region and my primary focus revolves around displacement, human rights, child protection, and emergency education
