Independent (Zwellicia Dlamini)
My name is Zwellicia Dlamini, from Eswatini formally Swaziland. My education background is in Social Sciences, particularly studying Health Economics and Statistics at the University of Eswatini. I have newly been assigned the role of projects officer at Women Unlimited, a womens rights organization that provides holistic support to all women and marginalized people. I find myself inspired to work because I am contributing to the reshaping and development of women for the better. I am someone who is constantly checking in with the goal to determine how close or how far away we are and what it will take to make it happen. I find this pressure inspiring and a great motivator for myself and the rest of my team. Currently, we are working with Bantwana Initiative, an implementing organization in Eswatini to eliminate violence against women and girls in higher learning institutions. We are planning to achieve this intervention through challenging existing sexist norms and using student agency and male ally-ship to reduce forms of violence against women. We are hoping to achieve a significant improvement in this area and take away key learning's from this intervention.
