Indian Society for Rural Development (ISRD)

The Indian Society for Rural Development (ISRD) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Mr. Sudhir Sabat in Odisha, India. With more than 38 years of dedicated service, ISRD works to empower marginalized and vulnerable communities through integrated and sustainable development initiatives. Our key thematic areas include Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Livelihood Promotion, Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability, and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. Through these programs, ISRD aims to build inclusive, resilient, and self-reliant communities. Operating across the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, and Nabarangpur, the organization collaborates with government departments, development partners, and community-based institutions to ensure equitable access to opportunities and social justice. Guided by the vision of a just and empowered society, ISRD continues to create lasting impact through education, empowerment, and collective action.
