Institute for Environmental Protection (IFEP)
The IFEP is a non-for- profit and non-governmental educational, advocacy and research body gear to engage in activities that prevent, control and reduce activities posing threats to ecosystems goods and services, and conservation. However, realizing that Liberia’s environment host ecosystems goods and services that have key potential of making significant impacts on the economy, health, social and political wellbeing of the country, making it very important for the protection against land-based human activities causing pollution, land degradation, destruction of ecosystems, open defecation and other natural pressures. In addition, pollution, land degradation, destruction of ecosystems, open defecation and natural pressures in the environment are affecting the ecosystems and creating increase in environmental problems in Liberia..
