Institute for Sustainable Socioeconomic Transformation of Africa (ISSTA)

ISSTA aims to achieve the localization of sustainable development through identification of challenges, designing, and implementing interventions to promote: inclusive growth, poverty reduction, food and nutrition security, social enterprise, non-partisan cooperatives, village savings and loans associations (VSLAs), and SACCOS; civic education, rights, and ordinary citizens participation in governance; service delivery in education, health justice, water and sanitation, social protection, climate justice; and empowerment for women, girls, and youth in Uganda and other African countries
