Karnataka Hemophilia Society, Davangere is working for the welfare of Persons with Hemophilia since 1990. Dr.Suresh Hanagavadi who himself is a sufferer with Hemophilia is a founder. His hemophilic maternal uncle’s death to life-threatening bleed without timely treatment determined him to become doctor, establish KHS. KHS is registered under Society’s Act, 1960 and affiliated to Hemophilia Federation India, New Delhi, A satellite body of World Federation of Hemophilia, Canada.
