My partner, Karsten Langbarg, and I operate a private psychotherapy business with the aim to helping as many people as possible to have access to quality mental health care. Karsten has had a long career serving in the public social health sector in Denmark. We are using his knowledge and expertise in addiction and trauma treatments to reach out to help improve the quality of care. We officially started our company this year. As a co-founder, I utilise my business and finance skills to develop our strategy and promote the work we do. I am also an aspiring intrapreneur working in the NGO sector. I work with DanChurchAid, which is a Danish NGO working on the humanitarian development and peace nexus in 20 countries.

My ambition is to find innovative solutions to help fund mental health services for those in need. This is a problem even in the most developed and resource rich countries like Denmark. How can way find a way to help people pay for psycho-social treatments when they are suffering from conditions that prohibit them from earning a high income? I hope to be inspired by this community and find future partners to work with on solving this problem.
