LEM Mindfulness Ltd (LEM)

We are a Mental Wellness Social Enterprise that focuses on mainly supporting young people [all ages including the ECD sector up to University] but wel also support other community members. We are guided by our three core values of Love, Empathy and Mindfulness (hence LEM). We aspire to cause change through (1) Awareness & Sensitisation efforts about mental wellness (2) Training and Capacity Building for Indiciduals and organisations (3) Counselling and guidance for individuals, groups and organisations/ communities, (4) providing wellness programs for individuals as well as organisations (5) Other wellness programs including career planning, retirement planning, Mentorshop, life coaching, and others. We stayed out in Dec 2019, and over the last four years, we have witnessed amazing transformation in the communities where we work. Our very first product / intervention point was to create Mental Health Clubs at Universities (these are self help social support groups established at various educational institutions/ communities to help galvanise efforts for the community or education institution to take care of its own with out us present daily). This approach is working very well and from initialy just 1 club we formed 2 years ago, we have now expanded to 5 and are planning to expand to over 60 in the next 5 years (12 clubs per year projected). We are working on a number of other projects for example the Boy Child Empowerment project, the ART Therapy project, the National Oli Otya (How are you?) Campaign, the Life Wellness in school project, among many others. We would like to jnvite the rest of the world to join us in this Welness campaign not just in Uganda, but in Africa and the world at large. Thank you
