Nilufer Municipality Social Entrepreneurship Center

Nilufer Municipality Social Entrepreneurship Center aims to expand the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in the city of Bursa, to explain social entrepreneurship to citizens and potential investors, and to support local social enterprise teams. For this purpose, we arrange training, workshops, competitions, and mentoring programs. The Center includes administrative offices, shared offices, training and meeting areas, and a 3D prototyping area. Training and meeting areas are available for use by local social enterprises. The shared office is open to the winners of the social entrepreneurship competition for one year. We support six teams every year within the scope of the competition. We have organized three competitions so far. We identify the needs of these six teams and offer training and mentoring support according to their needs. With the 3D prototyping area at the Center, we offer prototype support to product-based social enterprises and designers with design ideas that produce social benefits. Shortly, we work like an incubation/acceleration center. While carrying out these studies, we cooperate with national and international networks such as Turkey Social Entrepreneurship Network, Euclid Network, and ESER (European Social Economy Regions) Network. Also, we cooperate with development agencies, social enterprises, and universities in Bursa.
