Pak Mission Society (PMS)

Pak Mission Society is a national level humanitarian & development organization registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860, certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP), having valid MoU with Economic Affairs Division, Government of Pakistan till 2024 working across four provinces of Pakistan. PMS started the work in 2004 and registered in 2008 envisioning “Vulnerable and unreached communities are empowered so that people enjoy the fullness of life, living with hope, dignity and respect” while mission of the organization is “Implement and promote holistic development to strengthen people’s capacities, resilience and self-reliance”. PMS aims to catalyze holistic transformation and development through relationships based on dignity and respect and the transparent, fair and rights-based allocation of humanitarian and development efforts. The thematic areas of PMS are Humanitarian Action, WASH & DRR, Climate Action, Entrepreneurship Development, Church & Community Transformation and Leadership & Youth Development. PMS is working with the core values of Excellence, Accountability, Patience, Teamwork and Passion. PMS has outreach in 34 districts while have operational offices in 11 districts of Pakistan and served to more than 1 million households so far (6.5 million individuals) through humanitarian and integrated development programs since inception. PMS is member of National Humanitarian Network (NHN) at the National Level in Pakistan and has practiced localization of humanitarian aid by establishing the downstream partnerships with local organizations during the Floods Response 2022 in Pakistan. While we are member of different global networks/ coalitions/ forums and think tanks including Charter4Change, GNDR, ICVA, IASC, CHA, CCHN, ADPC, GDPC, GB etc. Further to this PMS is working in close coordination with National & Provincial SDGs Support Units to localize the SDGs.
