PalGBC Vision: To lead a greener built environment through sustainable, more innovative, and smarter built projects within the Palestinian community. PalGBC Mission: Building capacities, promoting and supporting the planning, design, construction, as well as operations and maintenance of sustainable and environmentally-friendly buildings in Palestine. Goals & Objectives Main Goal Developing the Environmental culture, understanding the building sector and the built environment in Palestine as well as joining the local and international efforts towards a sustainable future through networking, capacity building, and partnerships including case studies and implementation of pilot projects. General Long-Term Goals • To contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); • To build a network of stakeholders in different sectors (through assessment, advocacy, and partnerships) • To cultivate a culture for sustainable buildings within the local community; • To drive the local built environment sector towards adopting sustainability practices; • To build capacities and create green jobs in Palestine; • To reach a financial sustainability at PalGBC.
