PsychEd for Youth

PsychEd for Youth is an NGO that prioritises youth mental health in South African townships. Our interventions include mental health talks and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy with teenagers; General psychoeducation talks with teachers; and Systematic Training for Effective Parenting Programme for parents to ensure mental health harmony at home and at school. Overall, we do preventative mental health work, and we also connect beneficiaries with mental health/social work services when needed.
