Relief of Single Mothers Organization (RSMO)

Relief of Single Mothers Organization (RSMO) is an NGO established in 2021 and officially recognized by the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) under No. 974/RGB/NGO/LP/O3/2024. Since 2022, RSMO has been actively training 150 vulnerable Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), particularly teen mothers who are survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), and advocating for their rights. Our mission is to ensure these teen mothers receive support and justice by addressing the violence they've experienced. These 150 AGYW are from Gacurabwenge, Rukoma, Musambira, and Nyamiyaga Sectors in Kamonyi District, as part of our 5-year program, "Tunga Mudozi," aimed at empowering teen mothers for a brighter future. The program operates in Kamonyi District, Southern Province, Rwanda, and we aim to extend our services to Rusizi, Karongi, and Bugesera Districts.
