Saviru Spices

Saviru Spices started operations in 2017 aiming to provide people healthier natural foods in premium quality. Hence we started to process, market and export premium quality pure Ceylon spices, herbs, herbal teas and other natural foods in dehydrated form. This runs as a profit making Social Enterprise managed by three technically qualified professionals, being myself as Managing partner( S. M. Weeratunga Arachchi-B.Sc.Eng.(Peradeniya), M.Eng.(AIT-Thailand-Sp. in Postharvest Technologies). Our staff (mostly the rural women and youth) is well trained with proper attitudes, skills and knowledge. We blend their artisanal skills with modern technologies.We apply proper post-harvest technologies from harvest to packaging in consumer packs. We complete everything and do proper bulk packing within 48 hours from harvesting, to preserve the freshness. During the processing we give much effort to preserve the natural goodness and immaculate properties, taste, aroma and color of these pure Ceylon foods in most hygienically and trust-worthily. Finally, for the customer we give a life not just a product.
