My name is Ifeoma Uddoh, and I am the founder and CEO of Shecluded, a fintech and capacity building company dedicated to closing the $4B gender gap through access to finance, skills, infrastructure, and opportunities for women across Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. My mission is to ensure that women entrepreneurs are not only funded but also fully equipped to build sustainable, scalable businesses that create jobs and drive economic growth. My vision is a future where women have equal power, voice, and choice in the economy, competing confidently on both local and global stages. Since founding Shecluded in 2019, I have led the organization to impact over 35,000 women entrepreneurs through access to capital, business education, and community support. We have disbursed more than $2 million in loans and grants, created over 2,000 jobs, and supported women across diverse sectors including retail, agriculture, beauty, green energy, and technology. Our services include the Shecluded Hub which is a vibrant collaborative workspace that serves over 1,000 women annually providing them with a professional office address, a supportive environment to network with like-minded women, and access to training, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities. Through programs such as the Dream to Business Incubator, the Fempreneur Accelerator, and targeted pitch competitions, we have helped over 1,000 women start new businesses, moved more than 500 enterprises from the informal to the formal sector, and supported over 100 women in securing external grants to scale their operations. I have built partnerships with organizations such as CFYE, GIZ, Zenith Bank, Wema Bank, and AWS, and I remain committed to creating ecosystems where women’s voices are amplified, their choices expanded, and their economic power realized.
