Social Impact gGmbH (SI) | Coordinator of National Competence Centre for Social Innovation (KoSI) and the European Social Innovation Alliance (ESIA)

SI | Social Impact gGmbH is a leading agency for social innovation in Germany, dedicated to developing infrastructures and projects that address societal challenges. Our vision is to create a sustainable, just, and livable society for tomorrow—a world full of opportunities that supports individuals facing challenges, makes education accessible to all, embraces feminism and inclusion, builds strong communities, fosters entrepreneurship, strengthens regional potentials, and protects our environment and its resources. To realize this vision, we focus on key areas such as social and inclusive entrepreneurship, educational innovation, social economy, and rural development. We collaborate with strong partners both nationally and internationally to develop innovative products and services that contribute to a fair and future-proof society. KoSI | National Competence Centre for Social Innovation One of our significant initiatives is the Competence Centre for Social Innovation Germany (KoSI), a network of twelve partner organizations committed to fostering the development of social innovations within the country. KoSI aims to create favorable framework conditions for social innovations and supports the implementation and establishment of innovative solutions. ESIA | European Social Innovation Alliance We are also the coordinator of the European Social Innovation Alliance (ESIA), a transnational network of 26 partner organisations from Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom. ESIA supports and learns from each other in the development of national competence centres and works on a pan-European infrastructure for social innovation at all levels - local, regional, national and transnational. Through these initiatives, Social Impact gGmbH aims to be a driving force for systemic change and create innovations for a just and sustainable society of tomorrow.
